Thats very interesting. I almost read this book awhile back but I never ended up picking it up. Would you say you are in agreement with the authors message?
I think I will. I just finished "The Sun Also Rises" by Ernest Hemmingway, and its about the after affects of WW1 so this will go hand in hand with that I bet
I believe Hemmingway was in the British Army during WWI. England suffered over a million casualties in the war, since their trained army was wiped out in 1914 and they had to mass draft men of age with no experience.

You should really read it sometime. It's not long and there's alot to think about. He's really a criminally underrated writer.

Oh wait Hemmingway was American. *Facepalm* stupid me....
